For independent service crews running two or three trucks, a full 200 HP trailer unit is more rig than most jobs call for, and more than a lean operation wants to haul and insure. 

The Wolverine 2.0 was created to fill the gap. It's a hydrostatic test pump rated to 15,000 PSI that fits in the bed of a standard pickup, and a single operator can set it up and run it. 

That rating covers the pressures crews face across Permian and Eagle Ford operations, with casing, tubing, wellheads, BOPs, and frac connections all tested to spec. For an operation watching every line item, it puts in-house testing within reach without the capital and labor of a trailer-mounted system.

The footprint is the point. Because this compact hydrostatic tester fits a pickup bed, there's no dedicated trailer to tow and no CDL-class rig to keep on the books.

A single hand can position it on location, which keeps small crews productive and overhead low. On scattered pads and remote locations, it shortens the time between arrival and pressuring up, and lets a one-truck crew cover jobs that would otherwise pause to wait on a trailer rig and a second driver.

Smaller footprint, full output. The fill-and-test design pairs an automatic 18 GPM fill to 300 PSI with the high-pressure circuit, matching the efficiency of a 200 HP tester many times its size.

Yes. The pressure control valve regulates the test pressure, so you set the target to whatever the job specification calls for, anywhere up to the 15,000 PSI ceiling. The same hydrostatic test pump covers both low- and high-pressure work, which suits crews that handle a range of test requirements.

They do different jobs. A hydrostatic tester brings a closed component up to a set pressure and holds it there to confirm it does not leak or fail under high pressure at low flow. A water blaster moves a large volume of water to clean surfaces or cut through buildup. Boatman builds both, and the sales team can point you to the right machine for your work.

Water is nearly incompressible, so it holds very little stored energy under pressure. If a component fails during a water test, the pressure drops almost immediately, and the release stays contained. A gas test holds far more energy at the same pressure, which makes a failure more hazardous. For high-pressure equipment, hydrostatic testing is the safer way to prove a part will hold.
